JavaSpring BootVueMySQL

What I did

  • End-to-end listing → search → messaging flow
  • Category plus keyword search for faster discovery
  • In-app messaging keeps a record of every negotiation

Background

Campus second-hand trading has long depended on chat groups, where information is noisy and quickly buried. This project aggregates trading info into a unified web platform with structured categories and in-site communication to improve matching efficiency.

Contributions

  • Designed and implemented data models and APIs for products, users, and messages
  • Implemented product posting and categorized search (by category / keyword / newest)
  • Implemented in-site private messaging for online negotiation
  • Built the frontend pages and backend service and integrated them

Highlights

  • Full “post → search → chat” transaction loop
  • Multi-dimensional search (category + keyword) boosts item discovery
  • In-site messaging keeps negotiation records and makes deals auditable
